With the growing number of online merchants, signing up for an individual affiliate program has become a major headache.
In the past, I have talked about Viglink (over here) and Skimlinks which ease out some of the biggest pains of affiliate marketing.
Today, I have one more similar program, but there’s a twist.
The program is called Prosperent. It works the same as Viglink, but offers some more robust features to further monetize your blog.
Let me share what Prosperent is and how you can use it to make money from your blog.
Prosperent Features: Performance based ad network
Prosperent is a suite of multiple tools to monetize your blog or affiliate website.
All you need to do is signup for free (here) and add your blog into their (really elegant) dashboard. Grab the few lines of Javascript needed and add them onto your blog. (They do have a WordPress plugin also; more on that later.)
Now, once the Prosperent Javascript code is added onto your website, it willautomatically convert the non-monetized links into money links.
For example, if you have direct links to sites like TripAdvisor, Zappos, or Amazon,Prosperent will convert those normal links into affiliate links.
Now, when a reader of yours make any sale on those sites, you will earn a handsome commission. It’s a typical performance-based monetization platform which takes away the headache of signing up as an affiliate with individual merchants.

Now, let’s have a look at the three different types of ads offered.
ProperLink
This is the simplest way to make money from Prosperent.
It converts your normal hyperlinks into affiliate links. This way you will make a commission out of every successful sale.
They use a “Link Optimizer” which automatically adds affiliate links into those words with high chances of making money. This is particularly useful if you have tons ofnon-affiliated links sending to somewhere like Amazon; this feature willautomatically convert them into money links.
Phrase Link is another nifty feature which will convert words/phrases of your choice into affiliate links.
ProsperAds
ProsperAds are responsive ads (all devices) and they show ads based on retargeting. That means, it shows highly targeted ads based on a user’s earlier browsing experience.
Though these are display ads, you will make money from sales and not from clicks.
Because of this, I suggest you use ProsperAds on a website where you get highly targeted niche traffic (like a fashion blog or a tech blog).
API
This is technically for developers to pull up products from their database and show them on your website.
If implemented properly, you will end up earning a lot from your e-commerce or review site.

What really amuses me about this performance based ad network is the clean and easy to use dashboard. Their dashboard is one the best I have ever seen. You will find it easy to create ads, add your website, and make changes.

How to implement ads on your blog:
Implementing Prosperent ads on your blog is quite easy, as you simply need to add a few lines of Javascript.
Do remember, using Javascript will not affect your blog’s SEO, whereas some direct affiliate links may be harmful.
If you are using the WordPress platform, you should rather use Prosperent’s official WordPress plugin which makes it even easier to monetize your blog.
With the plugin, you can easily insert products within your blog posts, which will increase CTR and conversions.
Conclusion:
If you have a blog where you are driving highly targeted traffic with money/commerce keywords, or if you are running an e-commerce or review blog, Prosperent can generate great amounts of revenue for you.
Looking at the merchant list, this is especially true if you have a lot of U.S. and U.K. based traffic.
I also suggest you try Viglink and Skimlinks (one at a time – A/B testing) to find out which one of these methods is working the best for you. They all have similar merchant lists, but even a single different merchant can create a huge difference in your overall income.
